Dissertation Complete ✅

The last few months one of the things I have been working away at has been my dissertation for university. My subject was:

AN EXAMINATION OF THE CHALLENGES FACING THE CINEMATOGRAPHER IN MAINTAINING AUTHORSHIP OF LOOK IN AN EVOLVING DIGITAL AGE.

This was a really interesting subject to look at as I got to research heavily into the workflows followed during the days of technicolor right up to the ACES workflows being used today. I chose to focus especially on colour reproduction and its use as a creative tool for cinematographers. This threw up a lot of interesting areas of the control shifting as digital colour grading has become the norm in production workflows, leading to the responsibility for overall image to become blurred.

I am proud to say I received 80% for this, securing me a first. I would like to thank my tutor, Nic Morris BSC for his help in this project.
